Virtual University Announces the Call for Papers for its 3rd – ELDEC 2016

The call for papers for the 3rd e-Learning and Distance Education Conference, ELDEC 2016, was announced by Dr. Naveed Akhtar Malik, Rector, Virtual University of Pakistan at the University’s Lawrence Road, Lahore office on Friday. The two day conference is scheduled to be held at Lahore from March 14-15, 2016.

The theme of the international conference is “e-Learning and Distance Education: Evolution, Challenges & Solutions” and it aims to provoke a dialog on the potential of e-Learning and Distance Education in socio-economic development. Other areas to be addressed by the conference include quality assurance mechanisms for distance education and future directions and trends in technology assisted distance learning.

ELDEC 2016 is inviting qualitative, experience-based and quantitative papers, case studies and reports of work on both the theory and practice of all aspects of e-Learning and Distance Education and submissions will be welcomed from academics, teachers, practitioners, vendors and government policy and decision makers. Eminent scholars from various countries are expected to attend the conference.
