A delegation from University of Sargodha (UOS) visited Virtual University of Pakistan, M.A. Jinnah Campus. The purpose of the visit was to explore the possibilities for an indigenous platform through which online teaching can be taken way forward.

The officials from UOS expressed their keen interest in adopting Virtual University’s software system. Mr. Ehsen Puri, Director ICT, VU gave a brief introduction about Virtual University of Pakistan. Mr. Javed Younis, General Manager IT, VU delivered a presentation on VU mode of education, operations and achievements of the varsity since its inception. All participants agreed to explore the future collaboration possibilities for provision of quality education.

The meeting was attended by Amjad Hussain Janjua, Deputy Registrar, Dr. Muhammad Sarwar, Director Academics, Dr. Muhammad Bashir, Director QEC, Dr. Muhammad Ilyas, Incharge CS & IT and Mr. Zahid Anwar, IT Manager from University of Sargodha (UOS).
