Virtual University signs MoU with Bank Alfalah

Virtual University of Pakistan (VUP) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Bank Alfalah Limited on Tuesday, May 23, 2017. The MoU was signed by Dr. Syed Abdul Majid, Registrar VU and Mr. Ahmed Nauman Anees, Head of Learning & Core Development Division, Bank Alfalah Limited in a ceremony held at M.A Jinnah Campus Lahore.

The MoU envisages collaboration between the two institutions to develop specialized courses for banking professionals and students, sharing of professional expertise towards designing Learning Management System. Their commitment of working together on various fronts includes the Bank Alfalah to impart experiential learning opportunities to VU students.

Virtual University of Pakistan and Bank Alfalah are keen to strive together to overcome the numerous challenges that the Pakistani youth faces today. During the ceremony, Mr. Ahmed Nauman Anees said that it’s an honor for Bank Alfalah to create a strategic linkage with a prestigious university and is eager to evolve a strong framework of learning and entrepreneurial partnership. He also said that this linkage will substantially help foster the development of human capital in both institutions.

On this occasion, Dr. Naveed A Malik also briefed the delegation about the achievements of Virtual University, its leading role in delivering information and communication technology based education and contribution in the provision of quality education across the country.

Later, the official toured VUTV network and appreciated state of the art television set up of Virtual University of Pakistan.
