Dr. Muhammad Abbas Choudhary joins VU as new Rector

A reception hosted by VU staff was held at H.O to bid farewell to Dr. Naveed A. Malik, Rector VUP on successful completion of his tenure and to welcome Dr. Muhammad Abbas Chaudhary, a noted academician who joined Virtual University of Pakistan as the new Rector.

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abbas Choudhary has brought his vast experience in higher education and is vastly experienced in the field of higher education management.

He holds a PhD degree in Engineering Management from The George Washington University, USA and has already served as Vice Chancellor, NAMAL, Vice Chancellor of University of Engineering & Technology, Taxila and The founding VC of Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences, Quetta.
