Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC) organized its 3^rd session on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) on February 08, 2019 at 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at its Lawrence Road Office.  The guest speaker of the session was Dr. Muhammad Akhyar Farrukh, Associate Professor of Chemistry, Forman Christian College (A Chartered University), Lahore. He shared his valuable experiences of having patents not only in Pakistan but in USA as well. Talking about the problems, he faced while getting patent on his research, he elaborated the technical points that one should keep in mind while filing the patent application. Further, he also explained “claims” and how to write the “claims” in patent application. Session was concluded with the note of thanks and group photo.
