Sorrow and grief reigned supreme in all campuses of Virtual University of Pakistan (VUP) after demise of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abbas Chouhdry, Rector VUP. Quran Khawani and prayers were also arranged for the departed soul in all VUP campuses across the country.

A condolence reference and Quran Khawani was also organized at M.A Jinnah Campus and Lawrence Road Office on Thursday, March 14, 2019. A big number of faculty and staff from different campuses also attended the Quran Khawani arranged at their respective campus and offered special prayers for the departed soul.  All participants also paid tribute to the services of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abbas Chouhdry for Virtual University of Pakistan.
