TRACKS FOR M.PHIL EDUCATION (EDUCATION LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT)
FOR THE STUDENTS ENROLLED FROM FALL 2016

Dear Students,

1. The Virtual University has decided to offer following two tracks for completion of M.Phil Education degree program:

1.1. THESIS TRACK. It includes 24 credit hours of coursework plus thesis of six credit hours

1.1.1. Only students with minimum CGPA=3.00 may opt for thesis.

1.1.2. If a student has CGPA less than 3.00, and wants to opt for thesis, he/she must improve his/her CGPA to be eligible for thesis track.

1.2. COURSEWORK TRACK. This track has 30 credit hours of coursewrok only.

2. However, before making a choice of track, students must know that:

2.1. The HEC has prescribed a minimum CGPA =3.00 as eligibility requirement for admission to PhD in Education.

2.2. Most fo the universities offering PhD in Education require M.Phil with thesis as eligibility for admission in PhD.
