The Department of Public Administration, functioning under the Faculty of Management, offers undergraduate and diploma programs that equip students with relevant knowledge and required skills for building careers in modern public sector organizations. The offered programs give exposure to geographically dispersed students across the country as well as overseas for capacity building as potential public managers.

The curriculum offered to the students encompasses a wide range of policies and administrative theoretical orientation which may prove helpful for practical implementation. The ICT (Information, Communication & Technologies) based mode of education gives adequate opportunity to the large student body to pursue higher education in the field of Public Administration. Currently, more than 1,000 students with different socioeconomic backgrounds are enrolled in different programs of the Department. These students will be able to contribute to the national development of the country by playing their due role as effective public managers.

The Department has engaged highly qualified faculty members from the field of Public Administration with vast experience in online and digital teaching techniques, content development and evaluation. The services of distinguished and renowned experts from academia and the public sector have also been acquired to record state-of-the-art courses. The faculty, both regular and adjunct, is the major strength of the Department of Public Administration and is imparting their expertise to produce future managers and leaders for public, private, and social sectors.
