The Quiz Society, Virtual University of Pakistan, successfully organized an online webinar on 4 February 2026 to observe Kashmir Solidarity Day. The event aimed to highlight the Kashmir issue, human rights concerns, and the role of the international community. Kashmir Solidarity Day was also observed across various campuses of the Virtual University of Pakistan.
The program commenced with a Quranic recitation, followed by opening remarks from Prof. Dr. Mohsin Javed (Chief Organizer, Co-Curricular Activities & Sports). The keynote sessions featured Dr. Ayesha Ashfaq, who discussed the role of the international community in resolving the Kashmir issue, and Dr. Ruqia Kalsoom, who highlighted human rights violations in Kashmir and their impact on youth.
The event witnessed active participation from more than 150 attendees, including faculty members and students, reflecting strong engagement and solidarity. The webinar encouraged meaningful dialogue and thoughtful reflection on peace, justice, and human rights.
The session concluded with closing remarks by Dr. Nabia Luqman (Convener, Quiz Society), who commended the dedicated efforts of the organizing committee. The Quiz Society remains committed to promoting awareness through academic and intellectual forums.
