Virtual University of Pakistan (VUP) commemorated 10th convocation for its students from Bahwalpur and Cholistan region at Four Seasons Banquet Hall, Bahwalpur on April 04, 2019. As many as 729 students received Bachelor’s, Master’s and MS degrees at the ceremony. To acknowledge the outstanding academic performance of students in various disciplines, gold medal and merit certificates were also awarded to outstanding graduates.

Prof. Dr. Asif Ali, Vice Chancellor, Muhammad Nawaz Shareef University of Agriculture Multan (MNS-UAM)  graced the occasion as chief guest. Degrees and awards were conferred to the graduates by the chief guest along with Mr. Naeem Tariq, Rector Virtual University of Pakistan.

Earlier in inaugural address, Mr. Naeem Tariq, Rector Virtual University of Pakistan welcomed the guests and profusely thanked chief guest and respected parents for gracing the auspicious event with their presence.  He said that VU is committed to spur the nation’s economic growth and development by converting knowledge into practical experience. He congratulated the graduates and encouraged them to serve the country. He also highlighted the achievements of Virtual University, its leading role in delivering information and communication technology based education and contribution in the provision of quality education to the remotest areas of the country.

An audience included proud parents, members of faculty, eminent personalities from academia, corporate and public sector attended the event. The ceremony was marked with deep appreciation from parents and faculty with best wishes for the future.
