Admission of Foreign/Dual National Candidates:

I. Admission of Foreign/Dual National (Residing within Pakistan):

Foreign/Dual Nationality holder candidates residing in Pakistan (provided can understand Pakistan’s National Language ‘Urdu’) and intend to study within Pakistan have to follow prescribed procedure of Higher Education Commission, Islamabad. Such candidates are required to submit following documents to the Admission Office, Virtual University of Pakistan, M.A. Jinnah Campus, Defence Road off Raiwind Road, Lahore, Pakistan:

• Filled out original admission application form and its one photocopy.
• Five duly filled out and signed copies of HEC student information sheet
• Two attested copies of Visa and Passport
• Two attested copies of Proof of Nationality
• Five attested copies of Afghan Refugee Card (if applicable)

Upon receipt of above-mentioned documents and after due verification it is forwarded to the Higher Education Commission, Pakistan (HEC) and the concerned agencies for their approval. Thereafter candidate is intimated about admission.

In case of admission, candidate is intimated firstly through an email (if provided in admission application form). Secondly, via an email to his/her campus (incase campus based student) and finally, by mailing a hard copy admission offer letter and VU information material at his/her mailing address. II. Admission of Foreign/Dual National (Residing Abroad):

Foreign/Dual Nationality holder candidate residing abroad allowed to study with Virtual University of Pakistan (provided can understand Pakistan’s National Language ‘Urdu’) is  required to provide following documents along with their admission application form; complete in all respect, to the University.

• One attested copy of Proof of Nationality
• Declaration that he /she will not demand any letter from the University for the Issuance of Pakistan visa. However, during visit to Pakistan, if any he/she will appear for examination in the university designated exam center only.

Upon receipt of above-mentioned documents and after due verification, candidate is intimated firstly through an email (if provided in admission application form) and finally, by mailing a hard copy of admission offer letter and other information material at his/her mailing address.
