A delegation from National University of Science and Technology (NUST) visited Virtual University of Pakistan (VUP) on April 08, 2019. The delegation was led by Dr. Asif Raza, Pro-Rector Academics NUST accompanied by Engr. Salim Daud, Registrar and Dr. Qaiser Malik, Director Academics NUST.

Mr. Naeem Tariq, Rector VUP received the delegation at M.A. Jinnah Campus Lahore. Prof. Dr. Asif Raza expressed keen interest in adopting the state of the art Learning Management System of Virtual University of Pakistan as well as online student services facilities.

The delegates appreciated VU’s infrastructure and services provided to its students and faculty to ensure quality teaching, learning and research. They also applauded Virtual University for providing an excellent opportunity to the students from remote areas to excel in their fields by continuing their education through distance learning.

Later, the officials toured Virtual University Television Network to understand how lectures are telecast and undergo through different phases of preparation from recording to telecasting on four VUTV channels. Pro-Rector NUST appreciated the unique mode of education of Virtual University of Pakistan and its contribution towards educating the nation.
