Dr. Asif Ali is serving as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Science and Technology, Department of Mathematics, Virtual University of Pakistan. He is HEC Approved Supervisor. He obtained his PhD degree in Mathematics in 2022, from Department of Mathematics, School of Science, University of Management and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan; MPhil degree in Mathematics in 2014, from Department of Mathematics, Division of Science and Technology, University of Education, Lahore, Pakistan; Master of Public Administration with specialization in Finance in 2010, from Institute of Administrative Sciences, University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan; BS (4 Years) degree in Mathematics in 2008, from Department of Mathematics, University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan; and B.Ed. (Teaching of Mathematics and Physics) in 2012, from Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad. His area of interest is Multiple Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA), Integration of Fuzzy sets and Fuzzy logic in MCDM Techniques and their applications, Fuzzy inference systems, Handling Uncertain Information, Linear and Non Linear Optimization Modelling, Operations Research, Decision Analysis. He is reviewer of well-known international journals. He is also external examiner of MS / MPhil thesis of various universities. He has planning and organizing skills, and has ability to face challenges. He has a comprehensive knowledge of Computer including command over MS Office, LaTeX, and MATLAB.
