Abdul Quddoos Durrani has been serving as a lecturer at Department of Islamic Studies, Virtual University of Pakistan since January 24, 2011. Before joining Virtual University he served College of Sharia and Modern Sciences working under Minhaj University Lahore more then seven years. During his stay at Minhaj University, he has taught Arabic Grammar (Sarf u Nahve), Fiqh e Islami, and Tafseer e Quran. He was In charge of co-curricular activities like speeches, debates and Naat and Qirat competition. He holds an M, Phil degree in Islamic Studies in specific area of Tafseer e Quran. Now he is enrolled in PhD Islamic Studies and completed his class work. His area of interest is Quran study to work out contemporary issues facing by human being especially Muslim Ummah. He is serving as a preacher to show real face of Islam in country and out of the country. He served as a “Khateeb” in well known mosque at Walton Road Lahore Cantt. From 1996 to 2011.He visited Kuwait, Oman, Abu Dhabi and Iran for participating in different seminars and conferences regarding Islam and unity of Muslim Ummah.
