My research centers on phonetics and phonology. I am particularly interested in the acoustic properties of human languages and how they guide to the classification of languages.
I am working as a lecturer in the Department of English at the Virtual University of Pakistan. I teach phonetics and phonology, syntax, applied linguistics, communication skills, among others. I have also taught various literature courses (including but not limited to, English romantic poetry, classical poetry, literary criticism, American literature in English, Pakistani literature in English) at graduate and post-graduate level. |
