Cybersecurity - Web and Android Application Penetration Testing
PROFILE SUMMARY
I am a Cybersecurity professional specializing in Web and Android Application Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Assessment, and Application Security. I have hands on experience in identifying, analyzing, validating, and reporting security vulnerabilities in web applications, mobile applications, APIs, and IT environments.
My work focuses on practical security assessments, including authentication and authorization testing, OWASP based vulnerability assessment, vulnerability validation, security testing, and providing effective remediation recommendations. I use both manual testing methodologies and industry standard security tools to assess applications from an attacker perspective.
I am particularly interested in application security, mobile security, API security, vulnerability research, and improving the security posture of large scale digital platforms. My professional approach combines technical analysis, practical penetration testing, risk assessment, and secure development practices to help organizations identify and address security weaknesses proactively.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
My research interests are focused on Cybersecurity, Web and Android Application Security, Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Research, and Bug Hunting. I have a strong practical interest in discovering, analyzing, validating, and responsibly reporting security vulnerabilities in web applications, mobile applications, APIs, and enterprise systems.
My practical vulnerability research and responsible disclosure activities have resulted in Hall of Fame recognition from several internationally recognized organizations, including Upwork, Alibaba, Kaspersky Internet Security, Indeed, Walmart, Coca Cola, Henkel, Comcast, Topcoder, and MTN Group, among others. These recognitions reflect my continued interest and practical involvement in identifying real world security vulnerabilities and helping organizations improve their security posture.
My research interests particularly include Web Application Security, Android Mobile Application Security, API Security, OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities, authentication and authorization weaknesses, client side security, business logic vulnerabilities, vulnerability discovery, and exploitation techniques. I am especially interested in identifying security issues that require manual analysis, creative testing, and an understanding of application logic beyond conventional automated vulnerability scanning.
I aim to further research practical and scalable methodologies for vulnerability discovery, penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and secure software development. My broader research goal is to bridge practical bug hunting and penetration testing experience with academic cybersecurity research and contribute to improving the security of modern digital platforms, applications, and services.
