Dr. Madeeha Chaudhry completed her bachelor's degree in Bioinformatics from the International Islamic University, Islamabad in 2008. She attained her M.Phil. in Human Genetics from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad in 2011, and earned her PhD in Biosciences from COMSATS University Islamabad, Pakistan, in 2019. Her doctoral research centered on the "Design and Fabrication of Microchip Devices for Therapeutic Drug Level Detection." Throughout her PhD program, she also conducted a portion of her research at MIT, USA.
Her primary research area is Nanotechnology, including the synthesis and biofunctionalization of nanoparticles, as well as the fabrication of diagnostic devices for detection using nanomaterials. She has authored numerous publications and presented her work at various local and international platforms. Among her research accomplishments is a US Patent highlighting a microchip for the detection of therapeutic levels of drugs in the serum of patients. |
