PROFILE SUMMARY

I am Mohsin Nawaz, completed my Master of Science in Computer Science at the Institute of Space Technology, Islamabad, with CGPA of 3.63/4.0 and completion in 2026. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila, where I graduated in August 2022 with a CGPA of 3.53/4.00, establishing a strong foundation in computational theory and software engineering principles.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

My research specializes in cloud computing resource management, with particular emphasis on addressing load balancing challenges in heterogeneous distributed environments. My thesis work, titled "SLA-DE-RALBA: Cost-Efficient Dynamic Enhanced Resource-Aware Load Balancing Algorithm for Cloud Computing," proposes a novel unified scheduling framework that bridges the critical gap between SLA-aware prioritization and dynamic runtime adaptation. This research addresses the fundamental trade-off in existing algorithms where static schedulers lack adaptability while dynamic approaches ignore service-level objectives. Through rigorous experimental validation using CloudSimPlus simulation framework with benchmark datasets (GoCJ and HCSP), my proposed algorithm demonstrates significant performance improvements over seven state-of-the-art scheduling techniques. Key achievements include 96.8% resource utilization, near-zero job rejection rates, and 55-60% energy savings, establishing new benchmarks in cloud scheduling efficiency. My technical competencies encompass programming languages including Java, Python, and ASP.NET, alongside extensive experience with cloud simulation tools, particularly CloudSimPlus and database management systems. My research interests span cloud computing, distributed systems, scheduling algorithms, load balancing optimization, and green computing principles focusing on sustainable and energy-efficient resource management solutions for next-generation cloud infrastructures.

Proposes SLADERALBA, an SLA aware dynamic load balancing algorithm for heterogeneous cloud environments. It uses a three-tier SLA priority workflow, VM capacity borrowing and runtime load rebalancing. Tested in CloudSim Plus on the GoCJ and HCSP datasets against RALBA, DRALBA, DE-RALBA, SLA-RALBA, Dynamic Max-Min, PSSLB and PSSELB, it achieved zero job rejection about 11.9 percent better resource utilization, 41 to 45 percent lower makespan, up to 57 percent lower execution time and up to 85 percent lower energy consumption.
