Muhammad Qamar Usman is currently doing PhD in Computer Science. Previously he did his MS in Computer Science from UAF, Faisalabad and specializing in database management systems. There as a MS thesis research project he designed and developed a system called “Keyword Search Evaluation System in Relational Databases” in which he played a role of an analyst and programmer. He started his career as a Software Engineer at Ibrahim Fibers, Faisalabad where he developed and maintained their in-house systems named Human Capital Management (HCM) developed in VB6, Inward/Outward Gate Pass (IOGP) and Goods Receipt Note (GRN) developed in ASP.NET. After that he joined Virtual University of Pakistan due to his genuine interest in teaching and research. Currently he is working as an Instructor in the department of Computer Science and Information Technology, Virtual University of Pakistan and have taught many courses at undergraduate level. Teaching advanced courses and learning new programming languages is one of his core interests. His areas of interests include Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Mining and Optimization.
