At Virtual University of Pakistan, the administrative staff and faculty members came together to show solidarity with the people of Kashmir on Kashmir Black Day. The peaceful walk was organized at three different locations, including the VU head office in Islamabad, M.A. Jinnah campus in Lahore, and VU Lawrence Road Campus in Lahore.
The walk at the Head Office in Islamabad was led by the esteemed Rector of VUP, Prof. Dr. Ashad Saleem Bhatti. During this meaningful event, he shared his thoughts on the Kashmir issue, highlighting the plight of Kashmiris and their fundamental rights.
On the other hand, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Mohsin Javed, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, led the walk at M.A. Jinnah campus. At LRO, the walk was collectively led by the Heads of Departments.
Our staff participants held various placards and banners advocating for Kashmir's freedom and chanted the resounding slogan, "Make Kashmir Free". This vividly demonstrated our strength and unity in our collective effort to support the cause of Kashmir and the aspiration for a peaceful life for its people.
Let us continue to stand together for a world where peace and justice prevail.
