In view of the prevailing situation in Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK), the Virtual University of Pakistan has announced special academic facilitation measures for its enrolled Spring 2026 students from the region to ensure that their education continues without interruption.
The Virtual University of Pakistan remains committed to safeguarding the academic interests of all its students. To support Spring 2026 students from Azad Jammu & Kashmir during the current circumstances, the University has decided to extend the duration of the ongoing Spring 2026 semester activities, ensuring that no student suffers any academic loss.
The academic schedule for the affected students will be adjusted accordingly, and a revised academic calendar will be issued after the restoration of normal business activities.
As the Virtual University system relies entirely on ICT and internet connectivity, which is currently unavailable in the affected areas, the University has taken this decision in the best academic interest of its students.
The Rector of the Virtual University of Pakistan reaffirmed that the University places the highest priority on the academic welfare of its students and will continue to take all necessary measures to ensure uninterrupted learning opportunities for those affected.
The Virtual University of Pakistan remains committed to providing accessible, quality, and technology-driven higher education to students across the country without discrimination.
