Virtual University of Pakistan has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Directorate of Livestock & Dairy Development (Research), Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, to strengthen collaboration in research, education, training and technological development.

The MoU was signed on 3 November 2026 in Peshawar by Prof. Dr. Arshad Saleem Bhatti (SI, TI), Rector, Virtual University of Pakistan, and Dr. Muhammad Ijaz Ali, Director General, Directorate of Livestock & Dairy Development (Research), KPK.

The collaboration will focus on joint research initiatives, faculty and student engagement, internships, professional training, curriculum development, and the use of technological and research facilities. It will also explore opportunities for entrepreneurship and employment-oriented programmes in the livestock and poultry sectors.

Through this partnership, both institutions aim to promote knowledge exchange, strengthen research capacity and contribute to the sustainable development of the livestock sector.
