VUSSBC organizes a 3-Days workshop on Women Entrepreneurship

 

Student Startup Business Center at Virtual University of Pakistan organized a 3-days workshop for female students of Virtual University. The workshop was conducted in collaboration with “KHUDI”, a project of PEP foundation. The objective of this workshop was to increase the awareness of entrepreneurship among the female students of the University. Ms. Noreen Zahra, the trainer of the workshop, highlighted the importance of women entrepreneurship and helped them understand the idea generation process. Female entrepreneurs including Myne Butt, CEO Myne’s Cakery , Zainab and Marym, Co-Funders Paper and Cake, shared their experiences with the students. More than 70 female students participated in the workshop. At the end of the workshop students presented their business ideas in front of a panel of judges among which top 4 Ideas were shortlisted for mentoring at VUSSBC.

In the closing ceremony the rector, Mr. Naeem Tariq and Dr Mohsen Javed, Director SSBC, motivated the students to realize their power and contribute in the economy by starting their own business.
