The Government of Pakistan in collaboration with commercial banks has re-launched a "Student Loan Scheme" (Qarz-e-Hasna Scheme) aimed to financially support talented and deserving students of public universities who have insufficient means and cannot pursue their studies due to financial constraints. The advertisement of the scheme has already appeared in the daily newspaper on the February 28, 2016 inviting applicants from students of weak financial background to submit their applications on the prescribed form with supported documents latest by Monday, May 30, 2016.
