Mr. Abbas is a highly skilled bioinformatics professional with a passion for uncovering the mysteries of the genetic code. He earned his MS in Bioinformatics from COMSATS University, Islamabad in 2018 and has since worked in a variety of roles to further develop his expertise in the field. As a Scientific Officer at Alpha Genomics, Mr. Abbas honed his skills in Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) data analysis. In 2019, he joined the Department of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology at Virtual University of Pakistan as an Instructor. Here, Mr. Abbas continues to advance his knowledge by developing advanced analysis pipelines for NGS projects such as Whole-genome/exome Sequencing, and Transcriptomics. He is also recognized for keeping up with new bioinformatics tools and techniques, particularly those involving Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). With nine publications to his credit in esteemed national and international journals, Mr. Abbas is dedicated to expanding the boundaries of bioinformatics research. His ultimate goal is to contribute to the advancement of the field and make a meaningful impact in the scientific community.
