I am a seasoned IT and Network Infrastructure professional with nearly two decades of experience in enterprise networking, systems administration, virtualization, ICT operations, and digital infrastructure management. Currently serving as Network Manager at the Virtual University of Pakistan, I lead the planning, implementation, security, and management of enterprise IT infrastructure, supporting technology-enabled higher education across multiple campuses. I hold a Bachelor of Computer Science (Hons.) from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan, and an M.Phil. in Computer Science (Computer Networks) from the National College of Business Administration & Economics (NCBA&E), Multan, graduating with a perfect 4.00/4.00 CGPA. My professional qualifications are further strengthened by globally recognized certifications, including CCNA, Huawei Data Com And Routing & Switching, and JNCIA-Junos. My career began in 2005 as a Junior Web Developer, followed by positions as Network Support Engineer and Resident Engineer, where I developed expertise in enterprise networking and IT infrastructure. Since joining the Virtual University in 2007 as a Network Administrator, I have managed enterprise networks, server infrastructure, virtualization platforms, cybersecurity operations, and technology-enabled learning environments, including secure online examination systems. Promoted to Network Manager in 2025, I currently oversee IT and network operations at the Multan Campus while collaborating closely with the University's Head Office, Network Operations Center (NOC), regional campuses, and technology vendors. My role includes technical leadership, operational coordination, infrastructure optimization, troubleshooting, and capacity building across campuses nationwide. My expertise spans enterprise network architecture, routing and switching, network security, virtualization, ICT infrastructure, disaster recovery, vendor management, and IT operations.
