Orientation Session – FALL 2025
The Faculty of Education at the Virtual University of Pakistan organized an online orientation session on October 22, 2025, to welcome new students enrolled in the Fall 2025 semester.
The session was preceded by Dr. Sumbal Asghar, In-charge, Department of Education, who welcomed the participants and shared an overview of the department’s vision, programs, and academic structure.
Faculty members, including Ms. Saleha Ali (B.Ed. 1.5), Dr. Hina Amin (B.Ed. Hons. Elementary and Lateral Programs), Dr. Nabeela Sulaiman (B.Ed. Hons. Early Childhood Care and Education and Lateral Programs), Dr. Irum Andleeb (B.Ed. 2.5), Ms. Sana Amin (ECCE – 2 Years), and Dr. Sohail Mazhar (Associate Degree in Education), guided students through the scheme of studies, course structure, and academic expectations of their respective programs.
Ms. Darakshan Muslim delivered an informative session on the Virtual University’s Learning Management System (LMS), demonstrating how students can navigate online courses, access learning materials, and submit assignments effectively.
The session concluded with a comprehensive Question Answer segment, where students’ queries related to general information, research projects, and teaching practice were addressed. More than 250 students attended the session, which concluded on an engaging note, encouraging active participation and preparedness for the upcoming academic journey.
